Body of Christ M. B. Church,

also known as BOC is a refreshingly different and unique congregation. Doctrinally, we are Biblical Fundamentalist. Conventionally, we are Missionary Baptist.  Musically, we are congregational Praise and Hymns. Socially, we are warm and friendly. Ministry Objective

To equip and prepare the saints to positively impact & lovingly influence the Christian community towards spiritual maturity, holy living, godly character and effective witnessing.

Women’s Mission
This ministry affords the women of BOC the chance to form closer bonds of friendship and fellowship while ministering to the sick, shut-in and needy in the church and outside of the church.

Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry goes out once a month taking the fellowship of BOC to the residents of a Westside Nursing Home. This ministry team is composed of young and old, lay-persons and clergy, male and female. It affords the participants an opportunity to show the love of Christ in a tangible way.

Samaritan Campaign
This ministry of which all BOC members are a part has the task of taking the Gospel to the streets in a non-aggressive, non-intrusive way to bring sinners to Christ.

Praise Team
The Praise Team leads the church in lively and spirited songs of praise to God during morning services. You don’t have to be a musical artist to participate, you just need to be full of praise.

Marriage Classes
This 10 session course is a must for anyone married, engaged or thinking about getting engaged. This class is offered annually and explores biblical principles for a successful marriage.

Academic Achievement Awards
The Academic Achievement Awards offers positive reinforcement in a financial way to Sunday School Students who excel in their academic endeavors. Each student can earn up to $100.00 each marking period depending on the number of A’s they receive on their report cards.
