I. THE SCRIPTURES
1. Were written by Holy Men inspired by God. (II Peter 1:21, II Timothy 3:16)
2. Are God’s perfect instructions (II Timothy 3:16-17, Psalms 19:7-11, 111:7, 199:105)
3. Jesus Christ is the central theme of the scriptures. (John 5:39, Gal. 3:24, Hebrews 10:7)
5. It is truth without error. (Psalms 119:140, 151, 160; Proverbs 30:5-6, John 17:17)
6. The Word of God shall remain forever. (Matthew 24:35)
II. THE TRUE GOD
1. There is only one true God. (Deut. 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:6&8, 45:5-6)
2. God has many names that are revealed in the Bible alone, and neither Buddha nor Allah is
among God’s name. (Psalms 83:18, 68:4, Exodus 3:13-14, 6:3, 34:14)
3. God is Holy. (Lev. 11:44, 19:2, I Samuel 2;2)
4. God is worthy of all honor, confidence and love. (Rev. 4:11, 5:12-13)
5. God Exist in three persons, i.e. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Heb. 1:8-9; Acts 5:3-4)
6. God the Father and God the Son are one. (John 10:30, 17:11, 21-22)
6. Each person of the Godhead is equal. (John 5:17-18, 10:30-33, Phil. 2:6)
7. Only God is eternal. (Psalms 90:2)
8. God is the creator of all. (Isaiah 40:25-28, 42:5, 45:7, 11-12)
III. THE FALL OF MAN
1. Man was created in holiness. (Genesis 1:27 & 31)
2. Man was created under the law of God. (Genesis 1:29, 2:16-17)
3. Man voluntarily fell by sinning. (I Timothy 2:14)
4. All mankind are now sinner because of Adam’s original sin. (Romans 5:19)
5. All men are sinners by choice. (Romans 1:19-21, 28)
6. By nature all men are void of holiness. (Romans 3:10-18)
7. All men are inclined to evil. (Genesis 6:5, Jeremiah 17:9)
8. All men are justly condemned to eternal condemnation. (John 3:18)
IV. THE WAY OF SALVATION
1. Jesus Christ came to save men from eternal condemnation. (John 3:17)
2. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. (John 1:17-18, Matthew 3:16-17, 17:5)
3. Salvation is completely an act of grace. (Ephesians 2:8)
4. Salvation is a result of the mediation of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 10:10-14)
5. God the Father appointed Jesus Christ as our mediator. (Hebrews 5:5-6; I Timothy 2:5)
6. Christ freely took on the nature of man. (Phil. 2:7)
7. Christ lived without sin. (Hebrews 4:15)
8. Christ made atonement for our sins by his death. (Hebrews 9:11-12, 14-15)
9. Christ rose from the dead after being buried for 3 days and 3 nights. (I Cor. 15:4 & 20,
Matthew 12:40)
10. Christ is now enthroned in heaven. (Hebrews 1:3, 8; 2:9)
